TOWN OF ALGOMA RESIDENT IS DEAD
Mrs. Louise Owens, 77, widow of Richard Owens and a lifelong resident of Winnebago county, died at her home in the town of Algoma, Friday evening at 7:45 o'clock.
Mrs. Owens was born March 19, 1859 at Black Earth, Wis. Her parents came to this county when she was a small child and she had lived in this vicinity ever since.
She was married to the late Richard Owens, Nov. 19, 1891.
Mrs. Owens had been a member of the Algoma Community club since its organization.
Survivors are one son, Byron Owens; two daughters, Mrs. Jennie Staples and Mrs. Frank Booth; a granddaughter, Mrs. O. B. Hinz, and a grandson, Richard Owens.
Funeral services are to be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Fiss & Bills funeral home. The Rev. David F. Bent, pastor of the First Congregational church, will be the officiating clergyman. Interment will be at Riverside cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday evening and until the time of the services.
