Bettina was born in Sydney, Australia, the daughter of Rafael Zaverella and the late Valeria Zaverella. Rod and Bettina were Bristol CT residents for many years moving to Charlestown recently.
Rod and Bettina are survived by their loving children, Steven Lavoie of Willington CT; and Diana Lavoie, her partner Alan Cabiya, and their daughter Spirit Cabiya of Bristol CT.
Bettina is survived by her father Rafael Zaverella and her brother Angelo Zaverella, both of Italy.
