She married John Craig about 1818 and gave birth to at least 8 children: James (1820-), Esther (1821-1865), Joseph (1823-1910), Serena Elizabeth (1827-1909), John Frederick Derr (1830-1887), Robert (1832-1877), Mary A. (~1834-), and a son (~1836-). The family moved about 1836 to what was known as the Heiss farm, 2 miles north of Lima (now Howe), Lagrange, IN. The house stood just west of the water tank on the banks of the Fawn River. After a short time, they moed to the farm bordering Still Lake and later purchased a farm which remained the homestead until she died, and where all of their children were raised.
