He was a former employee for Illinois Central Railroad and a retired federal agent. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Sonja K. Broaddus; two daughters, Laurie Townsley (James Joseph Townsley) and Rhonda Anthony; one grandson, James Dalton Townsley; and many other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carter and Neppie Broaddus and one sister, Linda Ann Broaddus. Visitation will be Thursday, December 22 from 11 a.m. until the service begins at 2 p.m. at Twin Oaks Funeral Home in Southaven. Burial will follow in Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens.
