Obituary.

Mr. Charles Weber, the venerable father of our townsman, Mr. Louis Weber, who passed away from his beloved ones on this eath, was laid to rest at Olive Branch Cemetery. Mr. Weber had a large circle of friends, and was beloved by all who knew him. He always had a cheerful word and a pleasant smile for young and old. He was a cheerful giver for all benevolent purposes. The funeral sermon was preached at Olive Branch Church. The relatives extend their thanks to the many friends of the deceased for attention in so sad a time of affliction.

One by one eath's ties are broken,
As we see our loved one decy.
And the hopes so fondly cherished
Brighten but to pass away.

Her has gone from his dear ones--his children, his wife,
Whom he willingly toiled for and loved as his life.
O God, how mysterious and how strange are thy ways.
To take from us this loved one in the best of his days!

From his loving children,
Louis and Clara.
