Viola Bade

Mrs. Viola Bade, 92, of Plymouth, died at Valley View Medical Center, Plymouth early today after an illness of four days.

She was born Oct. 24, 1891 at Oshkosh, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clemens Servix. She attended Oshkosh schools and graduated from Oshkosh High School.

She was employed at Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Co.

On Oct. 20, 1921, she married Elwood Bade in Plymouth. Mr. Bade died Oct. 1, 1977.

She was a resident of Rocky Knoll Health Care Facility for seven years.

Mrs. Bade was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Plymouth, and had been a member of the Church Mission Circle.

Survivors are two sons, Ralph of Plymouth and Donald of Byfield, Mass.; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by a sister and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Wittkopp Funeral Home, Plymouth. The Rev. Dennis Pegorsch, pastor of St. John Lutheran Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Plymouth Woodlawn Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 3 p.m. Thursday until time of services.

A memorial fund has been established in Mrs. Bade’s name for St. John Lutheran Building Fund.
