Joe had been a meat cutter with the A & P, Finast and the Portland Supermarket, and had owned and operated the Community Meat Center in Middletown prior to his retirement in 1976. He was a member of St. Mary's Church, Portland, and a former member of the Knights of Columbus.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Joseph E. Randazzo and a daughter, Marie R. Logan; two brothers, Emanuel Randazzo of Pacific Palisades, California, and Louis Randazzo of Bristol, Connecticut; four sisters, Rosalie Milardo and Frances Cianci of Middletown, Josephine Branciforte of Cromwell and Ann Randazzo of Wethersfield, and four grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial in St. Mary's Chapel, Portland, followed the funeral at Portland Memorial Funeral Home.
