Joseph Randazzo, 75, of Rose Hill Road, Portland, Connecticut, died at Middlesex Memorial Hospital in Middletown. Born in Middletown, he had lived in Portland for the previous 43 years. He married Margaret Elizabeth Gustafson of Portland, daughter of Charles A. and Amelia (Johnson ) Gustafson, February 4, 1945.
Joe had been a meat cutter with the A & P, Finast and the Portland Supermarket, and had owned and operated the Community Meat Center in Middletown prior to his retirement in 1976. He was a member of St. Mary's Church, Portland, and a former member of the Knights of Columbus.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Joseph E. Randazzo and a daughter, Marie R. Logan; two brothers, Emanuel Randazzo of Pacific Palisades, California, and Louis Randazzo of Bristol, Connecticut; four sisters, Rosalie Milardo and Frances Cianci of Middletown, Josephine Branciforte of Cromwell and Ann Randazzo of Wethersfield, and four grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial in St. Mary's Chapel, Portland, followed the funeral at Portland Memorial Funeral Home.
