Zachary "Zach" Morgan Holman, age 16, of Buford, GA passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2011. He was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Chestley Holman, Sr. and Mary Lizzie Holman and Travis and Gilda Lewis; and aunt, Allison Holman. He is survived by his mother, Melissa Holman Renfroe, Canon, GA; sister, Madison Gray Holman, Buford, GA; brother, Ethan Cain Renfroe, Canon, GA; grandparents, Chestley Holman, Jr. and Dianne Holman, Buford, GA; aunts and uncle, Christy and Scott Payne, Buford, GA and Ashley Holman, Buford, GA; uncle and aunt, Skip and Renee Banks Seawell, Hoschton, GA; and several great aunts, great uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Zachary Holman was born August 11, 1995 in Atlanta, GA. He was a tenth grade student at Mill Creek High School in Hoschton, GA and was also in the weight lifting program. He was a former member of the ROTC at Winder Barrow High School. He attended Zion Hill Baptist Church in Buford, GA. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 2, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Pastor Danny Newborn and Rev. Paul Wade officiating. Interment will follow at Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Buford, GA. The Winder Barrow Color Guard will serve as honorary escort. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Zachary Holman Memorial Fund at Gwinnett Federal Credit Union, 216 North Broad Street, Winder, GA 30680 or to Zion Hill Baptist Church Building Fund, 3390 South Puckett Road, Buford, GA 30519 in memory of Zach Holman.
