Mary Beatrice Hinch was the first born child of Joseph Devereaux Hinch and Mary Eugenia Jackson.

In Feb 1895, Mary and her infant sister Sarah, both caught Scarlet Fever.
The two little sisters died within an hour of each other on the same day.

They were buried together on the 27th of February at Holy Cross Cemetery.
