News of the Soldier's Home
There were but three deaths in the hospital last week. Artemus Clunis died Friday, aged 78 years. He was a native of Iowa and served with the 3rd Iowa calvary during the civil war. He received a pension of $30 per month and by frugality had laid by quite a sum. which he left to his nephew, Henry Clunis, who is an employee at the hospital.
