John Doherty, aged 95 years and said to be the oldest person in the city of Glendive, if not in the entire Dawson county, passed away on Tuesday, of old age, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Martin Graham in Glendive.
The body was prepared for burial at the chapel of the Enterprise Furniture & Undertaking Co., and shipped on No. 4 yesterday morning to Ottumwa, Iowa, in the family lot in the city cemetery at that place.
The daughter of the deceased is the wife of Conductor Martin Graham, a well-known railroad man who has lived in Glendive for a number of years.
