Virginia Wallick, 69, died Friday, Jan. 1, 1988 at the Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, following a long illness. She was born Oct. 20, 1918 in Denver, Colorado to Harold and Mildred (Russell) Bartlett. She was reared and educated in Denver. She attended Denver University and Barnes Business College and received a degree from both institutions. She lived and worked in Denver and then moved to Cheyenne to work for an insurance company. She was married to Harlan William "Jack" Wallick on Sept. 6, 1947 in Denver. They lived in Cheyenne and then moved to Denver. In 1952 they moved to Douglas. She worked as a bookkeeper, and then became a partner with her husband and worked in the office of J. W. Supply. They sold the business in 1975 and retired. In 1985 she moved to the Denver area to live with her son and daughter and grandchildren. She is survived by her son, Robert Wallick of Arvada, Colo.; her daughter, Dana Baldwin of Wheat Ridge; two brothers, Richard S. Bartlett of Arvada and Harold D. Bartlett of Blandford, Mass.; a sister, Dorothy Bratzler of Colorado Springs, Colo.; a cousin, Pauline Weaver of Arvada; three grandchildren, Jonathan and Allison Wallick of Arvada and Andrew Baldwin of Wheat Ridge.
