Leonard was born in Minneapolis and came to Arizona in 1985. He was the founder and retired corporate executive of LaBelle's Distributing, Inc. (later Modern Merchandising Inc.) Lenny was also a volunteer for the Scottsdale Chamber of Commerce as a business counselor for 10 years.
Survivors included his beloved wife of 53 years, Natalie LaBelle, daughters Sheera (Greg Adams) LaBelle of Portland, Maine, Ellen LaBelle of Phoenix, Judie (Yehuda Trop) LaBelle of Raanana, Israel, and son Rob (Megan) LaBelle of West Vancouver, British Columbia, and 9 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, December 23 at Mt. Sinai Cemetery in Phoenix.
