Glen Evans, age 68, of Lexington, Kentucky, passed away on October 20, 2011. He was the son of the late Walter and Eula Sipes Evans. He was a truck driver for E. C. Stanton.
He was preceded in death by: his wife, Mildred Ann Evans; a son, Glen Stewart Evans; and a brother, Walter Evans, Jr. Survivors include: a daughter, Diane Evans, of Florida; two grandsons, Robert Glen Lind and Charles Anthony Lind; a brother, Clarence Evans, of Indiana; a sister, Dorothy Evans Bowling, of Indiana; and his companion, Alice D. Hoskins.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, on Main Street, in Lexington, with burial to follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, in Paris, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
