LONSDALE--(Special)--Funeral services for Thomas Malecha, Sr., 84, who passed away on June 28 at the home of his son, Joe V. Malecha, in Lonsdale, after a year's illness, were held on Friday, June 30, from the Immaculate Conception church here with the Rev. Stanley Srnec officiating. Interment was in Calvary cemetery at Lonsdale. The deceased was born in Veseli on March 4, 1866, and lived on a farm south of Lonsdale before retiring and moving to town about 24 years ago. He was united in marriage to Rose Frejlach in 1890 in Veseli. She passed away in 1939. Four brothers, John, Vaclav, Martin and Frank and one sister, Mrs. Vaclav Bastyr (Mary) also preceded him in death.
