Small red Dachshund, she was the great grandmother to my little Rocksie.

Lovie was my cousin's dog. She was shy but very loving, she was his sidekick and wanted to be with him all the time. Lovie was his puddin buddy when he would finish eating the puddin, she thought she was supposed to have the cup to clean. She was a good little mom, she had a couple litters, Little Lovie and my Dobie Heidi fed and cared for a litter of newborn kittens that was found and rejected by their mother. Lovie was a hunter and was really good at it, so sneaky and she would get mad if you scared off her prey or made noises while she was hunting, she would just storm off and pout. If a voice got loud, she would duck and hide her head not thinking about her body, it was like she thought if she couldn't see you then you couldn't see her. If she wanted to be picked up, she would nip just to the point of pulling the hair on your arms never touch the skin.

She was hit by a car, she had just let her out for the last time of the night, they heard the car hit her, ran out after her, she was still alive but badly hurt, he rushed her to the emergency vet, where she passed away due to her injuries. This bothers him so bad, he had always stood near her while out and she listened to him very well, but she started after a small animal and got hit. I've never seen anything hurt him so bad, but to this day the very thought of Lovie can make him fall to his knee's. She was the once in a lifetime pet. She will be forever loved and missed.
