Mr. Wayne "Junior" Feltner
born December 22, 1921 departed this life on Monday October 10, 2011 at the V.A. Medical Center in Lexington, Ky being 89-years, 9-months, and 18-days of age the time of his passing. Wayne was born in Hardburly, Ky the son of the late Edward Feltner and the late Cynthia Grigsby Feltner. Wayne was also preceded in death by Two Brothers – William and Harold Feltner and One Sister – Margie Newman. Wayne was a Life-Long resident of Perry County and was a Member of the Wabaco Pentecostal Church and a Veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army.
Mr. Wayne "Junior" Feltner leaves the following relatives surviving: Wife – Linda Feltner of Hazard, Ky; Two Daughters – Jama Griffie & Husband Renis, Jr. Of Hazard, Ky and Cena Stacy & Husband Charles of Hazard, Ky; Two Brothers – Eli Feltner & Wife Joan of Atlanta, Georgia and Dewey Feltner & Wife Shelby of Eolia, Ky; Four Grandchildren – Kara Napier, Austin Stacy, Hunter Griffie and Chelsea Stacy, and a Host of Nieces, Nephews, and other Relatives and Friends Survive.
Funeral Services for Mr. Wayne "Junior" Feltner will be conducted on Thursday October 13, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. At the Engle-Walker Funeral Home on East Main Street with Rev. Buddy Turner officiating. The burial will follow in the Jim Grigsby Cemetery located at Lott's Creek, Ky. The Visitation will be at the Engle-Walker Funeral Home on East Main Street on Wednesday Evening from 6:00 till 9:00 P.M. Military Rites will be performed by the Hazard Perry County D.A.V. Chapter #64.
