Le Roy Gipson
Le Roy Gipson, formerly of Wickenburg, where he was employed at the Santa Fe pump house and later a resident of Prescott, died at the Beatitudes Nursing Home in Phoenix.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Hampton Funeral Home in Prescott and burial will be in the Mountain View Cemetery there.
Mr. Gipson was employed by the Santa Fe for 30 years prior to his retirement.
He is survived by his wife Marie R. of Wickenburg and a daughter Mrs. Hez (Gladys) Welch also of Wickenburg; a son Clifford G Gipson of Winslow and four other daughters, Mrs. Robert (Opal) Van Buskirk of Whittier, Calif.; Mrs. Charles (Mardean) Bones of Phoenix; Mrs. Allen (Clara) Aldrich of New England Air Force Base, La., and Mrs. James (Jean) Kett of Prescott, also a brother Emmett Gipson of Golden city, Mo., and a sister Mrs. John Carl of Lockwood, Mo.
