"On February 21, 1945 the aircraft carrier USS Bismark Sea CVE-95 was located 20 miles East of Iwo Jima. At 6:45 p.m. it was attacked by three kamikazes, one was destroyed in the sky. The other two slammed into the aircraft carrier. Ninety minutes later Glenn along with 317 of his shipmates perished with the Bismark. They are all buried at sea."
