Mr. Sears was the former operator of the Snappy Inn Restaurant at 243 1/2 N. Santa Fe for about 15 years. He had also been a farmer. He had recently been making his home with his daughter, Mrs. Margaret Michaelis, at Macksville, Kansas.
Survivors besides his daughter, included his wife, Mary Ann; another daughter, Mrs. Christine Neece; four brothers, Dora, Clarence, Wilbur and Bob: a sister-in-law, Mrs. A.D. Cain; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
