Levi E. Sears was born October 27, 1892, in Allen County, Kansas. He died June 6, 1962 at the hospital in St. John, Kansas.
Mr. Sears was the former operator of the Snappy Inn Restaurant at 243 1/2 N. Santa Fe for about 15 years. He had also been a farmer. He had recently been making his home with his daughter, Mrs. Margaret Michaelis, at Macksville, Kansas.
Survivors besides his daughter, included his wife, Mary Ann; another daughter, Mrs. Christine Neece; four brothers, Dora, Clarence, Wilbur and Bob: a sister-in-law, Mrs. A.D. Cain; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
