Born in South Philadelphia to the late Dominick and Anna Cummines Farrar, Jo lived in Deptford for the past 53 years.
She is survived and missed dearly by her beloved husband, Jack Huber, Sr.; a daughter and son-in-law, Jacklyn and John Moore; a son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Kim Huber; seven grandchildren: Amanda Moore Burke (Ed); J.T. Moore, Elizabeth Bree Moore Pakosinski (Bobby); Tiffany Huber Hamilton (Ed), Jennifer Huber, Jessica Huber (Tony Brannan), and Chip Huber; and three great-grandchildren: Abigail Burke, Josephine Brannan, and R.J. Pakosinski.
She is also survived by sisters Anna "Sissy" DiPlacido (late Angelo); Ruth Moless (late Jack); Florence Murtha (Dan); Joan Bosco (Steve); Julie Kull (Bill), a cousin Eleanor Bloemker (late Joe), and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents Dominick and Anna, her brothers Charles D. "Bubby" Farrar (late Dolores), William Farrar (late Lucille), and her sister Peggy Bryan (late Bernie).
Jo loved the Shore and spent many summers in Wildwood and Avalon. She was also an avid reader and loved history and art, as well as telling stories of growing up in a big family and of her never-forgotten German Shepherd, Jaycee. She will always be remembered for her undying love of her family, her contagious laughter, and her ability to always look on the bright side and be thankful for everything she had, even through the most trying of times.
Viewing, Saturday, 9 – 10 AM at the McGuiness Funderal Home 34 Hunter St., Woodbury, NJ 08096 where the Service will follow at 10 AM. Interment at Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown, NJ.
