He was employed in the shipping department of the Coroda Ink Co. of Malvern, Pa. for 43 years.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy during the Korean war.
He also was a member of Saint Casimir's Church for 57 years. He was a member of Gold's Gym.
He loved his garden and enjoyed bike riding and gym activities.
Charles attended all of his grandchildren's affairs. He was a wonderful father and great "Poppy." He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
He was the beloved husband of 40 years to the late Dolores (Czarzasty) Farrar.
He was the loving father of Donna Farrar Kane (Michael) of Delran, and Charles D. Farrar Jr. of Jupiter, Fla. He was the brother of Anna DiPlacido (late Angelo) of Deptford, N.J.; Josephine Huber (Jack) also of Deptford; Ruth Moless and Florence Murtha (Dan), both of South Philadelphia, Joan Bosco (Steve) of Mantua, N.J., and Jullie Kull (Bill) of Fortesque, N.J.
He was the brother of the late Peggy and Bernie Bryan and the late William and Lucille Farrar, and also his late mother-in-law, Irene Czarzasty, and late father-in-law, Anthony Czarzasty Sr.
He also is survived by his brother-in-law, Anthony and Lynn Czarzasty of Riverside, and many nieces and nephews; three grandchildren: Michael, Brendan, and Danielle.
Liturgy of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday at Saint Casimir's Church, Riverside followed by entombment at Saint Peter's Cemetery Mausoleum. Friends of the family are cordially invited to share their thoughts, condolences, and happy memories with the family at a visitation at Chadwick Memorial Home, 154 Webster St., Riverside from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, and from 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday.
