Mrs. Anna King, widow of the late Balthazar King of this city, died at the home of her daughter Mrs. R. J. Ross, in the town of Nekimi, Saturday afternoon of general debility. Mrs. King was born in Switzerland in April, 1832 and came to this country and direct to this city with her husband and family in the fall of 1865. She is survived by five sons, four daughters and twenty-six grandchildren, also seven great-grandchildren. The sons are John G. King, F. B. King, Casper King, Jacob King, all of this city, and Michael King of Apleton. The daughters are Mrs. Fred Schmidt of Embarrass, WI, Mrs. R. J. Ross and Mrs. Joel Ross, both of Nekimi, and Mrs. C. J. Fischer of the town of Algoma. The funeral is to be held at the Ross residence in Nekimi Tuesday at noon. Interment is to be in the family lot in the Omro Junction cemetery.
