Canadian Politician. Having completed his elementary studies in his hometown, he began as farmer in Saint-Alban and became a stone mason thereafter. He served as foreman on the bridges during the construction of the Intercolonial railroad. He then became owner of careers in Saint-Alban and Saint-Marc-des-Carrières, and of a manufacture of matches in Saint-Casimir. He then settled as owner of a general store from 1895 Trading and commercial General of 1895 until his death. He was shareholder and director of the Company of telephone of the county of Portneuf. He served as mayor first of Saint-Alban from 1894 to 1896, then of Saint-Marc-des-Carrières in 1905.He was elected to the Legislative Assembly as the Conservative representative for Portneuf in the by-election of March 10, 1904. He did not represent himself in the general elections held a few months later, on November 25,1904.
