Chief George Pierre, of the Colville Indian Reservation, WA, passed away on September 16, 2011 in Redondo Beach, CA, with family and friends by his side.
In honor of George, a memorial service is planned at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 1, 2011 at 124 Sapphire Street, Redondo Beach, CA.
A formal ceremony will be held at Arlington National Cemetery in November TBA.
