Funeral service for Mary Theresa Pierre, 90, will be today at 10 a.m. in the Nez Perce Longhouse in Nespelem, Wash. Prayer service was Monday at 7:30 p.m. in the Nez Perce Longhouse. Strate Funeral Home in Grand Coulee, Wash., is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Pierre was born in Havillah, Wash., and lived on the Nespelem Reservation most of her life. She died on Friday in Spokane. She was a member of the Colville Confederated Tribes and the Catholic Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Pierre. She is survived by three sons, George Pierre and William Pierre both of California, and Abraham Pierre of Tacoma; one daughter, Ellen Moses of Nespelem; nine grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
