Nellie Ehrhardt, 70, of Moberly, died Thursday, September 15, 2011, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, after a strong battle with cancer. She was born July 27, 1941, in Black Rock, AR to Melvin and Virgie (Holobaugh) McBride.
Nellie married John Ehrhardt on December 8, 1984, in Moberly and he survives of the home. Also surviving are her daughter, Elizabeth "Liz" McKown and husband Richard of Norman, OK;, step-children, Ron Ehrhardt of Sedalia and Becky Erhardt of Kansas City; two grandchildren, Olivia and Madeline McKown; two brothers, Henry McBride of Dadeville, MO, Jim "Jay" McBride of St. Charles, MO; a sister-in-law, Jean McBride of St. Charles, MO; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Taylor. Nellie was an active member of the Carpenter Street Baptist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Carpenter Street Baptist Church. Services will be Sunday, 1:30 p.m. at the Carpenter Street Baptist Church with interment in Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday 1:00-5:00 p.m. at CATER Funeral Home.
