Chapman's Mortuary


DAISY MELBA DILLON HARDIMAN, age 85, of Huntington WV flew into the waiting arms of Jesus on Wednesday December 31, 2003 at St Mary's Medical Center in Huntington WV. She was born on February 24, 1918 at Maynor WV, a daughter of the late James Luther Dillon and Alice Clyburn Dillon.


She was also preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband of 49 years, Walter L Hardiman in 1988;two sons, Mark Edward and David Ronald Hardiman; two brothers, James L Dillon Jr and Lawrence W Dillon; and one sister, Dorothy Bell Dillon.


She was a longtime member of Fourth Avenue United Methodist Church where, for most of her life she had given her service to the Children's Ministries.


She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, James L and Ruth Hardiman of Prichard WV and Philip and Donna Hardiman of Ona; twelve grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.


Funeral service at Chapman's Mortuary Huntington with the Rev Dr Timothy J Waugh and Rev Jarrold L Lanham officiating. Interment in White Chapel Memorial Gardens at Barboursville WV.
