Alice Bertha Dillon, 76, of Huntington, formerly of Mount Tabor Heights, died at 9:30 a.m., Wednesday in a Huntington hospital following a long illness.
Born in Maynor, December 4, 1895, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Brown Clyburn. Her husband, James L. Dillon, preceded her in death, Feb. 18, 1960.
She had been a resident of Huntington for the past ten years.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Walter Hardiman of Huntington; three sisters, Mrs. Hattie Clyburn, Mrs. Frendie Kidd, and Mrs. Daisy Perry, all of Beckley; brother P.A. Clyburn of Harper; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m., Saturday in the Mt. Tabor Baptist Church with the Rev. Dale Watters officiating. Burial will follow in the Calfee Cemetery at Mount Tabor.
