Swaney Moore, 89, of Olney were
held Thursday, July 25, at the Lunn
Funeral Home Chapel with Scotte
Clark officiating.
Mrs. Moore was born May 8,1913,
in Carroll, Iowa, to the late W.B. and
Carrie (Brunnier) Swaney. She died
Tuesday, July 23,2002. in Olney.
She and Thomas R. Moore were
married May 18, 1935. in Fort
Dodge, Iowa.. He preceded her in
death March 1.1995.
Mrs. Moore attended St. Ambrose
College in Davenport, Iowa. She
was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Episcopal
Church and the Order of Eastern
Star and P.E.O. She was a member
of the Hamilton Hospital Auxiliary
in Webster City, Iowa, and the
Hamilton Hospital Auxiliary in
Olney. She moved to Olney in 1972.
Survivors include one son, David
S. Moore, M.D., and his wife, Patsy,
of Olney; a granddaughter and two
great-grandsons.
She was preceded in death by a
son.Thomas Michael Moore, in 1990
and a grandson, Jon Moore, Nov.
22,2000.
