Leola was a former "Rosie the Riveter" during WWII at Love Field, a former member of the Rebecca Lodge and a member of Newman Park Christian Center. She loved horseback riding and fishing. Preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hanby Harris on February 12, 1973 and survived by step-daughter, Norma Jean Fannon and numerous nieces and nephews.
