CREMATION
Clarence was born on April 21, 1926 to parents Henry and Catherine (Gable) Scheetz in Sidney, MT. Clarence worked on area farms before being inducted into the Navy in August of 1944. He served on the USS LST-197 in the Pacific. Clarence was awarded the Asiatic-Pacific Area Campaign Medal, the American Area Campaign Medal, the WW II Victory Medal, and the Philippine Liberation Medal for his nearly two years of service.

Clarence married Agnes Storm in June of 1947. They were married for 63 years and raised four sons and one daughter. Clarence retired from the Sidney Sanitation Dept after 30 years.

Clarence enjoyed reading non-fiction, playing cards with the guys in his home, and advanced word search puzzles.

Clarence died on Wednesday, October 06, 2010 at the Sidney Heath Center.

Clarence is survived by: his wife, Agnes Scheetz, Sidney, MT; a daughter, Sharon (Steve) Iversen, Albuquerque, NM; sons, Terry (Billie) Scheetz, Billings, MT, Tom (Sharon) Scheetz, Colorado Springs, CO; grandchildren, Stacy LaRue, Scott (Laura) Scheetz, Michelle (Stacey) Dosdall, Tami (Camaron) Yogt, Sara Iversen, Beth Iversen, and Scott (Kristina) Iversen; eight great-grandchildren; Emma Bonner, Sidney, MT and Alice Kolstad, Billings, MT.

Clarence was preceded in death by: his parents; sons, Ron and Allen; brothers, William Scheetz, Robert Scheetz, and Elmer Scheetz; and a sister, Esther Bonner.
