Annie married Felix Blumer Carrico on August 22, 1896 at Hardin Co, KY. She and Felix had 6 children of which 5 lived to be adults, marry and have children of their own. In addition to raising her own 5 children, she was a major force in the raising and the life of her grandson Kempis Lee Alvey, Jr whose father was killed in an industrial accident in Louisville several months before he was born.
