CONNIE L. VASTANO
Connie L. (Westcoat) Vastano, 71, of Vineland passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2011, at home, where she had been under the care of family and hospice.
Born in Brownsville, Pa., she was raised in Vineland, where she was a longtime city resident.
Connie was predeceased by her daughter, Lori; and a brother, James.
Connie was a graduate of Vineland High School, Class of 1957. In her early years, she worked at Owens-Illinois Kimble Glass Co. in Vineland. She later went to work for the city of Vineland, and retired with 13 years of service, as the deputy registrar. After retirement, she went to work as a part-time substitute office worker for the Vineland Board of Education.
Connie is survived by her three children, Darleen L. Freeman, Vineland, Thomas W. Branin and wife Helen, Hammonton, and James P. Branin and wife Michelle, Vineland; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; her mother, Fern English, Vineland; one brother, Paul H. Johnson, Farmingdale, and one niece, Lauren Johnson.
Relatives and friends will be received from 11 a.m. to noon on Wednesday at Pancoast Funeral Home, 676 S. Main Road, Vineland, where her funeral service will be conducted at noon.
Burial will be private in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Millville.
