Elenor/Eleanor 'Nelly' MARSHALL was born in Kentucky about 06 April 1790. She was the daughter of Robert and Margaret Morgan (MARSHALL) MARSHALL who were married in Nelson, KY, 13 Nov 1788. [Robert was listed in Fayette County, KY Tax List 1790]. This MARSHALL family first appeared in Greene county [OH] in the 1806 Tax List. Elenor/Eleanor's paternal grandfather, John MARSHALL, was a Revolutionary War Soldier, and her grandmother was Deborah CHAMBERS.
Elenor/Eleanor was one of 10 children, some of whom were born in Virginia [or Kentucky?] and the remainder were born in Greene County, Ohio.
Elenor/Eleanor 'Nelly' MARSHALL m. John Decker [or "B." middle initial] BURRELL on 29 Oct 1807 [or 1802?] at the age of 17. Their seven (7) known children were:
