She came to Ontario, Canada, when she was 12 years old, and after she had grown to womanhood moved to Woodford Co., Ill., where she was married to Joseph B. King, in 1871. She and her husband united with the Mennonite Church and were members at the time of organizing the church near Eugene, Oreg., about 30 years ago.
Later they moved to Barlow and were members of the Hopewell Church until death, her husband having preceded her a few years ago.
She is survived by all of her children, 3 sons and 2 daughters, and 13 grandchildren.
Services were conducted in the Presbyterian Church of Aurora by S. G. Shetler and J. D. Mishler and later at the Hopewell Church by S. G. Shetler, C. R. Gerig and J. D. Mishler. Interment in the cemetery near the latter church.
