Lovella O. Bragg, 89, passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2011, at Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today, July 12, 2011, at Dryden Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Don Carroll and the Rev. Philip Morris officiating. Burial will follow at Heflin City Cemetery with Dryden Funeral Home in charge. Pallbearers will be Ken Bragg, Billy Holley, Drake Williamson, Cliff Williamson, Jackie Bragg, and Joseph E. Bragg. Survivors include three daughters, Judy (D.E.) Locklear, of Heflin, Liz (Jimmy) Smith, of Alexandria, and Pat (Scott) Johnson, of Heflin; two sons, Jimmy Bragg, of Heflin and Doug Bragg, of Anniston; two sisters, Laverne Giles, of Edwardsville and Ruth Flowers, of Lanette; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Mrs. Bragg was a native and lifelong resident of Cleburne County. She was a member of Heflin Baptist Church. Mrs. Bragg was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Bragg.
