Duncan was a birthday present from a good friend,when I got him he was wearing a cute little bandana!His legs were so short we would have to carry him back from walks when he was a puppy.When I married Ed he had an Aussie named Rags,Duncan and Rags became buddies until Rags passed in 2001.We then got another Aussie named Tucker to be Duncans new buddy.Tucker and Duncan were never apart,Tucker could run alot faster but always waited for his "brother" Duncan.
One day in Oct of 2007 with no warning of any illness we found Duncan in the dog pen,he had passed. Living in SW Fla we are pretty sure it was a coral snake.Corgis are "ratters" and play and chase things close to the ground.We buried our precious Duncan at the back of our property.For weeks we would find Tucker sitting by his grave,it was so sad.We got Tucker another "brother" an Aussie named Boomer,at first Tucker did'nt like him,but now they are best buddies. Duncan was a wonderful Pembroke Welsh Corgi that will never be forgotten.
