OBIT from Daily Northwestern Newspaper--Oshkosh--12 July 1933: "LIFE LONG RESIDENT OF COUNTY IS DEAD--Mrs. Ida Goosman, a life-long resident of Winnebago county who would have been 75 next month passed away early this morning. She died about 1 o'clock at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. R. S. Hutchinson, 312 Lake Street, of general debility. Mrs. Goosman was born, Aug. 6, 1858 in the town of Nekimi, a daughter of John and Ann Thomas, pioneer residents. She was married to John Goosman, Sept 12, 1885 (wrong date 1883)and had lived in Oshkosh since. Her husband preceded her in death 26 years ago. She was a member of the First Baptist Temple and the various women's Societies of the church. The daughter and one grandson, Dick Hutchinson; two brothers Evan J. Thomas and John Ellis (Thomas); and one sister Mrs. D. R. Evans, all of Oshkosh, survive. ...burial at Riverside cemetery..."
