Carol I. Letson, 89, of Cedar Falls, died Saturday, Jan. 12, at the Western Home Martin Center of natural causes.
She was born Sept. 22, 1912 in Blairstown, Daughter of Morris and Sarah Elva Tague Bruch. She married Clarence T. Letson on June 26, 1937, in Waterloo. He preceded her in death.
Mrs. Letson graduated from Iowa State Teachers College and taught school in Buckingham and Plainfield. She then worked in food service at the University of Northern Iowa as a cost accountant for 20 years.
Survived by Nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by two brothers, Lyle and Merl Bruch; and a sister, Doris Carpenter.
Burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to United Church of Christ.
