Mrs. Marie Hardy Tyner, 80, 1336 Cave Spring Rd., died Friday evening.

A native of Butts County, Georgia, she was born April 2, 1909, the daughter of the late Quilla Jacob Hardy and Annie Lee Thomas Hardy.

Mrs. Tyner was retired from West Point Pepperell Mfg. Co. having been employed 37 years in the Spinning Dept. She was a member of the Vanns Valley United Methodist Church and the Quarter Century Club.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Paul Templeton, of Rome; 2 sisters - Mrs. Catherine Greenway, Atlanta and Mrs. Hilda Coleman, Conley,GA; 2 brothers - Millard Hardy of Morrow and Wilford Hardy of Conley; 1 grandson and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 1 PM from the chapel of Daniel's Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Lloyd officiating. Interment will be in the Eastview Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: James Hollingsworth, Garland Jones, Joe Scruggs, Warren Blackwell, Hubert Blackwell and J. D. Lester.

The family will receive friends at Daniel's Funeral Home today from 4 until 6 PM.
