Lonnie "Harold" Jones 67, Indianapolis, died Saturday, April 25, 2009. He was born in Franklin, Kentucky on December 13, 1941 the only son of the late Louie and Maizell (Gammons) Jones. He is survived by his six sisters and brothers-in-law, Wilma and Woody Hill, Sue and Mike Metzger, Ella Mae and Carl Wilson, Nancy and Danny Dick, Bobbie and Danny Carter, Karen and Wayne Tucker. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Harold retired in 2000 after working many years in construction. He was a member of Drake's Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Franklin, KY and he enjoyed square dancing.
Visitation will be from 4-8pm on Sunday, April 26, at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center – Washington Park East. Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Monday at the funeral center. Burial will follow in Washington Park East Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Alzheimer's Association.
