Mr. Fritz, was born in Russla on Aug. 25, 1897 the son of the late Henry and Amalia Fritz. The family moved to the United States, in 1909, settling in Wausau before moving to Sheboygan a few years later.
On Jan. 6, 1917, he married the former Julia Yurk at Ebenezer Lutheran Church. Mrs. Fritz died in June 1964.
Mr. Fritz was a truck driver for the Rway Furniture Co. until his retirement in 1960. He was a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church and a member of the Teamsters Union for more than 30 years.
Survivors include one son, Reinhold, Manitowoc; four daughters, Mrs. Henry (Esther) Hoppe and Mrs. Melvin (Lois) Kummer, Sheboygan, and Mrs. William (Ruth) Schreiber and Mrs. Gerald (Jean) Albers, Milwaukee; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and three sisters, Mrs. Arthur Heller and Mrs. Carl Schroeder, Sheboygan and Mrs. Joseph York, Chicago.
Burial in Lutheran Cemetery.
