Mrs. Kummer was born April 8, 1864 in Newton, Manitowoc County. The family has lived in this city for a number of years.
Besides the husband, three children survive; Miss Irma, a trained nurse, Norman of Rockford, IL; and Fred Jr., this city. Four brothers William and John Treick in this city, Peter Treick at Newton, and Rev. Henry Treick, South Dakota, and an only sister, Mrs. Margaret Maurer of Sheboygan, also survive.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon from the late home and from Zion Reformed Church. Rev. W. F. Horstmeier will officiate and interment will be made in the family lot in Wildwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Kummer was an active church member, the Ladies Aid Society, of which she was a member, feel her loss as she contributed much to her time to this society. Besides the immediate relatives, Mrs. Kummer leaves a host of friends in the congregation who mourn her loss.
