ADALINE M. HARBAUGH, 77, of 1184 Iron Springs Road, Fairfield, died Monday, Jan, 24, 2000, in Shepberds Choice, Gettysburg.
Born Nov. 21, 1922, in Fairfield, she was the daughter of the late R. Milton and Alice D. (Stanley) Sites.
Her husband, Lester H. Harbaugh, died in 1957.
Mrs. Harbaugh worked at Gettysburg Shoe Co. for a number of years.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Fairfield.
She is survived by five sons, Joseph L. Harbaugh of Blue Ridge Summit, James H. Harbaugh and Edward L. Harbaugh, both of Fairfield, John A. Harbaugh of Carroll Valley and David E. Harbaugh of Mechanicsburg; two daughters, Mary E. Smith and Joyce L. Harbaugh, both of Fairfield; 25 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; a brother, John F. Sites of Bethlehem; and four sisters, Mary E. Schlager of Lancaster, Lillie T. Bream of Baltimore, Charlotte A. Ford of Gettysburg and Alice M. Harbaugh of Fairfield.
Friends and relatives will meet at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in Monahan Funeral Home, Fairfield, to go to St. Mary's Catholic Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. by Father Michael Messaro. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Fairfield.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
