Blues Musician. A talented musician he sang from the 1960s through the 1990s. In the 1960s he teamed up with two friends, 'Spider' John Koerner and Tony Glover to create the group, Koerner, Ray & Glover. They joined the Elektra Record Label and recorded five albums for them. During the 1970s and 1980s, the group had occasional reunions but not like when they first came onto the scene. In 1996 they reunited once again and released the album "One Foot In The Grave." Among their many songs are "Black Dog," "Whomp Boom," "Duncan and Brady," "Ted Mack Rag," "Love Bug," Leavin' Home Blues," "Southbound Train," "Steppin' On My Black Cat Bone," and "Freeze To Me, Mama."
