17-year-old Lilian Davidson was traveling as a saloon passenger with her mother aboard the SS Atlantic. The pair were on their way to her uncle in California. Lilian was described in papers and by survivors who met her of her pale hart shaped face and intense beauty. She was lucky to have survived a bout with a severe illness shortly before.
Both mother and daughter were lost in the disaster. Their bodies were located around 2am on 11th April and are buried together in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
