Joan Hall, 86, of Valparaiso, passed away April 11, 2011 at the V.N.A. Hospice Center.
She was born July 6, 1925 in Hammond, the daughter of Frank F. and Blanch (O'Dell) Hoffman.
Joan was a dietary technician at Valpo Care & Rehab Center. She enjoyed gardening and reading was her passion.
Surviving are her children, Robert Hall of Valparaiso, James F. (Vivian) Hall of Marana, AZ and Janice M. Brueggmann of Valparaiso; three grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Richard S. Hall; a son, Richard; her parents; and a brother, Bill Hoffman.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 14, 2011, at 11:00 AM at Bartholomew Funeral Home, Rev. Brenda Ludwig officiating.
Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 4:00-8:00 PM at Bartholomew Funeral Home.
