Blanche A. Collmenter
HOMER--Blanche A. (Ridgway) Collmenter, 77, of 8117 23 1/2-Mile Road, died Friday at her residence.
She was born in Lowell and moved to Homer from Albion 44 years ago. She wasa past senior regent and college regent of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 144, and she was a member of the Eckford Birthday Club, Eckford Extension Club, the 500 Club, and the Cook's Prairie Baptist Church's Ladies Aid.
Surviving are her husband, George Collmenter; a daughter, Mrs. Keith C. (Geraldine) Schlottman of Homer; a son, Harol G. Collmenter of Homer; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Maynard (Mable) Barton of Lowell and Mrs. Evelyn Buche of Springport; and brothers, Claude Ridgway and Gordon Ridgway, both of Lowell.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Cook's Prairie Baptist Church. Arrangements are by Homer Chapel of Tidd-Williams Funeral Chapels.
