Doreen was proud of her work as a medical assistant. She was a belly dancer and a silk screener.
She was a child at heart. She loved to skateboard through Santa Cruz, ride her motorcycle and was learning to surf.
She loved to cook and was wonderful with animals and plants. She lived in a studio with a loft and had ivy trained around the rooms, high up the walls. She grew tomatoes and peppers along the edge of her little porch. She kept a huge fishtank and a small aviary AND cats and she loved them all.
She died one year and one day after she lost her father.
